EDUCATIONAL BASE: Nowadays more than 3,500 students study in the Univserity. Future Doctors are trained by highly qualified Specialists. There are 65 Professors and Doctors of Sciences and about 200 candidates of Sciences among them. There are 19 academicians including 1 member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, 9 members and Associate members of the Ukraine Academy of Sciences of National Progress, 1 member of the Academy of Sciences of Technological Cybernetics of Ukraine, 3 members of the Higher School Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 1 Member of the Ukranian Ecological Academy of Sciences, 2 members of New York Academy of Sciences, 7 Honoured Scientists and Honoured Education workers and 5 Honoured Doctors of Ukraine. 80% of the Faculty have Scientific degrees of Doctor of Sciences or Candidates of Sciences. Research work is carried out in Modern equipped Laboratories of Electronic Microscopy, Radionuclides, Ecological Medicine, Genetics, Immunology, Medical Biochemistry, Trace Elements and Enzymes.
